Use Your Stash Challenge; Mat a photo on contrasting paper and add a chipboard title.

Daniels Summit lodge blends right in with a light blue matt. The chipboard title "Brr.." brings a chill to those who look at this winter scene in the Utah mountains. Or brings back a memory of our snowmobiling fun. :)

Use Your Stash paper piecing challenge

Boy it is a good thing you guys said "go back to your elementary days" LOL I am not a very good paper piecer and had no idea what I would do. Sorry I used two "s'more making" layouts back to back, but since my family loves them at the cabin, I have lots of pictures of the event.

I paper pieced a giant s'more, I added the stitches and dots for the graham cracker look. I also made sticks with marshmallows and hand cut the arrow as well. Journaling reads: Smore's at the cabin patio are the kids favorite thing!

Brennan's Kindergarten trip

So "Nana" and Grandpa took Brennan on a little trip before he starts kindergarten. We went to the The Golden Spike at Promontory Point in Utah, then we hit Union Staion in Ogden and saw all the trains at a museum. We stayed at the Marriott in Ogden and had a hotel swim. Then we went to Dinosaur Park, thought it was going to be poor weather when we woke up to rain but it turned out nice, a little windy but we managed o.k. After we saw the dinosaurs we went to the Air Force Museum at Hill Air Force base. Then we met Mommy and Kalli at Neilsons in Bountiful to end our little trip. Brennan was so cute. As you all know he LOVES trains so this was a great retreat for him. Does it look like we had fun?

Use You Stash Challenge/ colored pencils in a stamped image

Flashlight photo corners, a little fire, making s'mores people, lanterns and my title all make up this fun layout of the kids at the cabin enjoying an evening at the fire pit.

Use Your Stash Frame, ink and brads challenge

Brennan LOVES trains. I caught him at the cabin taking them out on the deck railing. He used the rail for his tracks and went back and forth and back and forth. They can entertain him for hours. He is so fun to watch too.

"choo choo!"

My frame is train tracks, brads are in each corner as well as little yellow ones on the lower left hand corner and the upper right. Ink was used to stamp the train embellishments, stamp the frame and on all the edges. Thanks for looking.
