Christmas layout

Every year I make a layout for my siblings for Christmas. This year I used the last picture taken with my Mom and a favorite one my Dad liked taken in the 60's. He says Mom was wearing a blue knit dress in this black and white photo. It was his favorite. He loved seeing her in it. The flower is made using a square and rounding two of the corners, then placing four of them next to each other. I love this new found technique.

Merry Christmas!!

Here I am finally up to today. We had our traditional Family breakfast in our new home with the Kids, Grandkids and Grandma and Grandpa Reed. It was yummy as usual with ham, funeral potatoes, orange roughy, rolls and scrambled eggs. Brennan could hardly stand it till it was time to open presents. We have a new tradition to add to our Christmas morning. Since moving to South Jordan, we have an ice skating rink in practically in our back yard. the kids wanted to try it out and loved it so we are thinking of doing it every year. :)

Moving???

Well we decided to move so we wouldn't have to fight the sloped driveway anymore. So here is our home of 17 years:

and here is our new home:

Oh my gosh...

I cannot believe I have been so busy I haven't even posted. Nov. 6th I had shoulder surgery. I had a calcium deposit on my left shoulder and it needed to be removed. I am still going to Physical therapy and it is sore off an on but for the most part everything went very well.
